Create a new VisibleLogistics account

This tutorial shows you how to sign up to use VisibleLogistics, activate your account and sign in for the first time.

To get started, go to the sign-up page.

Enter your e-mail address in the empty field, e.g. john.smith@example.com, and click the Sign up button.

You will see the message: Confirmation e-mail sent to john.smith@example.com. To activate your account, please follow the instructions in the e-mail we have sent.

Open the confirmation e-mail that you receive.

Click the link in the e-mail, copy the whole URL and paste it in your browser's address field manually.

You now see the Activate new account page.

Fill in the confirmation form to confirm your e-mail address and create your account. Fill in your name, e.g. John, and the name of your organisation, e.g. Wayne's Wine. You also need to choose an organisation key - usually three or four characters, such as WAW. This will be used later as identification shortcut in the system. Finally, chose a password and click the Sign In button.

You are now be signed in using your new account, and see the Welcome page.

Optionally, click Edit account to access the Edit account details page.

You can now choose a default time zone for displaying times, add a web address for your company and enter a telephone number to receive SMS notifications of order status exceptions. This information is all optional.

Next steps

At this stage, the Dashboard and Order pages will not show anything until you create an order. You can also get started by entering items in your catalogue or inviting contacts.
